Jennifer Crocker graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with a Bachelor's of Science in Education: Social Sciences. Desiring to meet her own children's individual educational needs, she set out on what would become a twenty year journey homeschooling her five children. As her youngest children entered middle school, she was asked to work with a hybrid school, teaching classes for other homeschooled students. When that program shut down, Jennifer helped found a similar program to serve the educational needs of the program's families and served as both an administrator and teacher for the next six years. In fall of 2018 Jennifer joined Spring Valley School as a substitute teacher and became interested in working as a reading specialist. Working toward that goal, she is currently a Certified Academic Language Therapist in training through Neuhaus Education Center and looks forward to helping students reach their full potential.
